1.0 CARDASSIAN FLEET

1.1  KELDON-CLASS WARSHIP

Accommodation:  500 plus flight crew and troops.

The Keldon-class warship is similiar to, but more powerful then, the Galor-class starship. The Obsidian Order maintained several Keldon-class warships in the Orias system in violation of Cardassian law, and participated in a joint invasion with the Tal Shiar to destroy the Founder's Homeworld just before the start of the Dominion War.

1.2  GALOR-CLASS DESTROYER

Accommodation:  300 plus flight crew and troops.
Dimensions: Length, 481 meters; beam, 247.9 meters; height, 76.11 meters.
Mass: 1,678,000 metric tons.

Armament:  8 or more spiral-wave disruptors; 1 large aft disruptor wave cannon; possibly other weapons.

Powerful military spacecraft operated by the Cardassian Union. Two Type-3 Galor-class ships, the most powerful in their fleet, were dispatched to the Cardassian border to destroy a Bajoran Antares-class carrier in 2368. The Galor-class made up a large portion of the combined Dominion fleet during the course of the Dominion War, and played a significant role in assisting Allied forces near Cardassia Prime.

Note: The DS9 TM inaccurately depicts the size and armament of the Galor, as it does with many other values. The term "destroyer" was used by Dax in DS9 "Sacrifice of Angels."

1.3  CARDASSIAN MILITARY FREIGHTER

The length of 481 meters was the original design size when the model was first used on TNG, and later Dominion War scenes also help support this figure.
